YMCA members in eligible insurance plans with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of MN, HealthPartners and Medica can receive a $20 per month credit on their membership fee by working out a minimum of eight days each month.

Blue Cross / Blue Shield of Minnesota...
Here’s a great incentive for getting into shape. If you’re an eligible Blue Cross member*, you can get up to $20 per month credit toward your Marshall Area YMCA membership fee if you workout the minimum required amount of times in a month. Up to two eligible adult members (18+) per household can take advantage of the program. Eligible Blue Cross, Blue Shield of MN members have a Blueprint for Health fitness discount icon on their membership card. Bring your card to the Y Service Center to sign up. YMCA Family memberships may receive credit for up to two adults participating in the program for a total credit of $40 per month to your membership fee.
* Some Blue Cross, Blue Shield groups are not eligible for this program.

Health Partners...
If you’re a HealthPartners member in a fully insured plan, check with Y Member Services to see if you are eligible to participate in the HealthPartners Frequent Fitness Program. YMCA Family Memberships may receive credit for up to two adults participating in the program for a total credit of $40 per month.
The Freedom Frequent Fitness program is for Medicare eligible HealthPartners members. This program allows those Medicare members to get not just $20 per month reimbursed, but their whole monthly dues!
Medica...
The Fit Choices by Medica program is available to YMCA Members. If you are a Medica subscriber in an eligible plan, you can now receive a $20 credit on your YMCA Membership each month. All adults (18+) covered by an eligible Medica plan may enroll in the program. One $20 monthly credit will be applied to the membership fee. The qualifying adult within the membership may vary by month.
* There is no initial Joining Fee when joining as part of these eligible insurance programs for the first time. Members who discontinue their membership and rejoin later pay the joining fee.
