Do I have to be a YMCA member to use the facility?

Yes, and no. Yes, the YMCA sells memberships and requires that people who use the pools, gym, and fitness areas either are members, guests, class participants or have paid the appropriate guest fees.  All guests must complete a Participant & Guest Application.  Guests who are under the age of 18 must have this form completed by a parent before they will be allowed to use the YMCA.  Other parts of the facility such as the large lobby & lounge and youth room will be open to the public.

Once I join, are there additional fees?
Members have many privileges without additional fees including use of all facilities according to the established schedules and age limitations. For example, an adult member can use the Fitness Center, attend a fitness class, swim laps, play basketball, play racquetball on an open court all for no additional fee.  There are fees for most instructional classes, Child Watch, sport leagues, and "no shows" for the racquetball courts and cycling classes.
