FINANCE/HR DIRECTOR - FULL TIME

Provides direction and leadership for YMCA finance and human resource operations. Oversees the YMCA’s accounting practices, the maintenance of its fiscal records, the preparation of its financial reports, cash receipts, payroll, employment applications / files and accounts payable. Ensures a system of strong internal controls and maintains fiscal soundness.Manages the annual external audit, the 990 tax return and the preparation of information for outside funders. Also provides leadership for human resources functions, building the relationships to ensure trust and open lines of communication among all staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a person 18 years of age or older. The qualified candidate will hold a current Barre Certification. CPR and First Aid certifications are also required and may be obtained at the Y for the selected applicant.

PERSONAL TRAINER

Under the direction of the Director of Personal Wellness a Personal Trainer is responsible for developing and implementing specific fitness programs for each individual or small group of clients they are working with. Hours can range greatly, dependent upon when the clients’ want to train and what works best for them in their personal schedules. Most sessions last 1 hour in length and can be set up anytime between 5:15am and 9:30pm. As a Personal Trainer you may also have some flexibility in your schedule and when you schedule individual training sessions.

SUMMER CAMP COUNSELOR

Counselors are the primary staff working with a group of up to 100 children that are divided among three individual camps. Youth are ages 3-entering 7th grade.

Counselors are responsible for the care of youth in the camp program as well as planning and leading activities for the youth. Activities range from arts, STEM, gym games, swimming, parks, and more. Camp also travels to field trips in and outside the Marshall area.
