ANNUAL COMMUNITY SUPPORT

In 2017 we raised over $123,000 to assist youth, adults and families in the Marshall area learn, grow and thrive at the Y.  All donations stay, and are used, at the Marshall Area YMCA for scholarships for Membership, Afterschool Programs and Summer Camp fees.  Each and every year the need for assistance grows.  In 2017 the Marshall Area YMCA granted $192,609 in assistance to families, group homes, youth and adults in the Marshall area to help 2,004 individuals utilize programs and services at the YMCA.  Throughout the campaign we have a great team of volunteer campaigners telling the story of the Y and asking you to make a contribution to the Y and the surrounding communities.  Thank you for supporting your YMCA and your community!

HOW DOES MY DONATION HELP OUR COMMUNITY?

$50: Opens the doors to a child to experience their full potential.
$100: Provides siblings the ability to learn water safety skills in swim lessons.
$200: Keeps 8 older adults active and connected to the community.
$500: Gives a family bonding opportunities with an annual membership.
$1,000: Assists a family with child care services in Summer Day Camp or After School Program providing their children a safe place.
$2,500: Supports 100 children to learn, grow, and thrive through youth sports, arts & humanities, and membership.

When you donate to the Marshall Area YMCA, you make the communities of Marshall and surrounding areas better and the “us” who live in them stronger.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

All kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve, under the guidance of caring adults who believe in their potential. We see every interaction with young people as an opportunity for learning and development—all grounded in the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

HEALTHY LIVING

We help people and families build and maintain healthy habits for spirit, mind and body in their everyday lives. By helping kids, adults, families and seniors from all walks of life improve their health and well-being, we build a stronger community.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

With our doors open to all, we bring together people from all backgrounds, to support those in need. We take on the most urgent needs in our community and inspire a spirit of service in return. Our members, volunteers, supporters and staff demonstrate the power of what we can achieve by giving back together.

HERITAGE CLUB

Investing in the future of the Marshall Area

The Heritage Club is an organization of people who have shown their long-term interest and support of the Marshall Area YMCA by either a direct contribution to the Endowment Fund or by including the YMCA in their estate plans.

Your gift will be invested for the future of our community.  It will be helping ensure that there is always:

· A safe place for kids to go after school
· A center for families to spend time together
· A gathering spot for our older adults to  interact with our youngest citizens
· A place for teens to grow into adults

A commitment to Heritage Club membership is the greatest statement of support to the mission of the YMCA that a friend of the Y can make and become the catalyst for more good than ever could be done on your own.
