Start your kids off on the right foot—get them into fitness today! All kids ages 9-13 are required to take our Family Fitness class along with a parent prior to being allowed to use the Fitness Center and Track. Family Fitness is a free orientation class, learn all the basics of working out on the machines and then begin working out together as a family! Please schedule an appointment for your orientation.


Members & guests are invited to enjoy the YMCA Kids Gym with their children 18 months to 8 years of age. Kids Gym is a soft play area for young children & their parents to interact & play together. Children must be supervised by a responsible person age 15 or older. Please see the YMCA Gym Schedule for days & times Kids Gym is available.


2nd Friday each month from 10:30 am - 12:00pm

The YMCA is working in collaboration with Marshall’s ACT on Alzheimer’s ACTion team to create a Caregiver-Friendly environment. ACT (Alzheimer's Community Team) meets at the YMCA for a unique class experience led by Ruthe Thompson. This program is open to Parkinson, MS, & Dementia patients and their caregivers, and is funded by a Grant from the State of Minnesota. The first hour is devoted to fitness, and is for both the patient and their provider. The second hour the caregiver may use our facility as a "break" while your loved one participates in structured social time.

For anyone who has multiple sclerosis or other physical challenges who may be helped by aquatic exercises. Your life will never be the same once you experience this inspiring water exercise program held in the lap pool. Not only will it be therapeutic physically, but mentally as well.
