Y members may choose to pay membership dues monthly through automatic bank draft or credit card, or by annual or semi-annual invoice. There is NO CONTRACT OBLIGATION to be a member of the Y. All membership specials or discounts need to be redeemed in person at the Welcome Center.

There is a joining fee of $35 and as long as your membership stays active and current you will not pay this fee again.
At the Y, we understand the dedication and personal sacrifice that hometown heroes and their families make to protect and serve our nation and community. As a small token of gratitude we're waiving the joiner fee for hometown heroes and their families. Join fee will be waived for Active Duty Military, Veterans, Police Officers, Firefighters, EMTs, & Local Clergy. (monthly membership fees still apply)
Members 65 years of age or older are eligible for a discounted join fee of $20 and a reduced rate on membership dues; $51 monthly individual membership fee -or- $70 monthly family membership fee.
Should you choose to end your Y membership, please fill out a termination form prior to the 25th of the month. Failure to do so will result in membership charges for the next month.

No. Yes, the YMCA sells memberships and requires that people who use the pools, gym, and fitness areas either are members, guests, class participants or have paid the appropriate guest fees. Guests who are under the age of 18 must have a Guest & Participant form completed by a parent before they will be allowed to use the YMCA. Guests 18 and older must present a photo ID and sign a guest waiver at each visit to gain access to the facility. Other parts of the facility such as the large lobby & lounge and youth room are open to the public.
Y members and guests need to be 9 years of age or older to be in the Y facility unsupervised by an adult. Guests ages 9 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult/guardian on their first visit to the facility.
Y members and guests 8 years of age or younger need to be supervised by someone 15 years of age or older while in the facility or utilize Child Watch.

Our Wellness Center equipment is designed for adult use. However, with proper training, children ages 9 and older are allowed to use the Wellness Center and Track once they attend a Family Fitness orientation with a parent/guardian.
Family Fitness is a free orientation designed to teach the proper use of equipment and explain behavior expectations for the Wellness Center.
No. Group Exercise classes are open and available to all members and guests at the times listed on our Group Exercise Schedule.
Special Events such as Launch Week events may require a FREE reservation in classes that use specific equipment.
YMCA Members in eligible insurance plans with Blue Cross Blue Shield of MN, HealthPartners, Medica, Preferred One, United Healthcare, and UCare can receive $20 per month reimbursement by working out a minimum of 12 times per month.
If you’re an eligible Avera member, you can get up to $20 per month reimbursement if you workout the minimum required amount of times in a month. Up to two eligible adult members (18+) per household can take advantage of the program. Eligible Avera members are employed with Avera and have Avera insurance through their employer. Bring your card to the Y Service Center to enroll. YMCA Family memberships may receive reimbursement for up to two adults participating in the program for a total reimbursement of $40 per month.
If you’re a HealthPartners member in a fully insured plan, check with Y Member Services to see if you are eligible to participate in the HealthPartners Frequent Fitness Program. YMCA Family Memberships may receive credit for up to two adults participating in the program for a total reimbursement of $40 per month.
The Fit Choices by Medica program is available to Y Members. If you are a Medica subscriber in an eligible plan, you can now receive a $20 reimbursement each month. All adults (18+) covered by an eligible Medica plan may enroll in the program.
The Preferred One program is available to Y Members. If you are a Preferred One subscriber in an eligible plan, you can now receive a $20 reimbursement each month. All adults (18+) covered by an eligible plan may enroll in the program.
The UCare program is available to Y Members. If you are an UCare subscriber in an eligible plan; you can now receive a $20 reimbursement each month. All adults (18+) covered by an eligible plan may enroll in the program.
The Silver & Fit Fitness Program assists in health, exercise and wellness programs helping older adults live healthy, active lifestyles. The YMCA is a participating Silver & Fit facility. Individuals with ELIGIBLE medical insurance can enroll in a free or low cost Silver & Fit membership which includes full use of the YMCA and participation in group exercise classes. Bring your Silver & Fit ID to the YMCA to sign up or inquire at the Member Services desk.
