Supporting the Y isn't only about membership. If you would like to donate to the work the Y is doing for the community through the pandemic you can do so here:
The health and well-being of our members, staff and community continues to be our number one priority. Following Governor Walz's announcements, the Marshall Area YMCA will close its doors at the end of the business day on Friday, November 20. We will remain closed for four weeks.
While the in-person fitness side of our facility will be closed during this time, we are still holding Virtual exercise opportunities on our Motion Vibe app exclusively for members. A virtual library of pre-recorded classes along with live options will be available during the facility closure. Need assistance with the app? Contact Jess Dahms.
We will continue our free STRONG Challenge through this pause in operations. We invite everyone to join our Marshall Area STRONG Challenge Facebook group to stay motivated, inspired, and connected with YMCA family and friends.
Take home Fit Kits will be available to active members. Contact Matt Konrad for more information and to reserve a kit.
The Gobble Wobble 5K on Thanksgiving has transitioned to a virtual race. Information on packet pick up and how the race can be run virtually can be found here.
Although the Y facility is closed for fitness, our Distance Learning - Campus Connections and After School programs for all Tier 1 essential workers has been allowed to continue. An invaluable service to our doctors, nurses, teachers, and other essential personnel giving them piece of mind while at work assisting the community during the pandemic.
November membership drafts were already completed at the time of Governor Walz's announcement. December memberships begin the draft process on November 27th. As members, here are your options:
