All donations stay, and are used, at the Marshall Area YMCA for scholarships for Membership, After School Programs and Summer Camp fees to help your neighbors, coworkers, and friends in our community.
The need for community assistance is needed each and every year. 2020 was a unique year that brought new challenges to the Marshall Area YMCA. In March, the Y facility was closed due to the pandemic for general use and was able to restructure efforts to meet urgent community needs:
In 2020, the Marshall Area YMCA also had the ability to grant $83,656 in assistance to families, group homes, youth, and adults in the Marshall area to help 1,419 individuals utilize programs and services at the YMCA. Throughout the campaign we have a great team of volunteer campaigners telling the story of the Y and asking you to make a contribution to the Y and the surrounding communities. Thank you for supporting your YMCA and your community!

All kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve, under the guidance of caring adults who believe in their potential. We see every interaction with young people as an opportunity for learning and development—all grounded in the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
We help people and families build and maintain healthy habits for spirit, mind and body in their everyday lives. By helping kids, adults, families and seniors from all walks of life improve their health and well-being, we build a stronger community.
With our doors open to all, we bring together people from all backgrounds, to support those in need. We take on the most urgent needs in our community and inspire a spirit of service in return. Our members, volunteers, supporters and staff demonstrate the power of what we can achieve by giving back together.
Thank you to all of our YPartners for providing the funds for our Financial Assistance Program. If you would like to contribute to help individuals here in Marshall, please contact the Y.
The Heritage Club is an organization of people who have shown their long-term interest and support of the Marshall Area YMCA by either a direct contribution to the Endowment Fund or by including the YMCA in their estate plans.
Your gift will be invested for the future of our community. It will be helping ensure that there is always:
· A safe place for kids to go after school
· A center for families to spend time together
· A gathering spot for our older adults to interact with our youngest citizens
· A place for teens to grow into adults
A commitment to Heritage Club membership is the greatest statement of support to the mission of the YMCA that a friend of the Y can make and become the catalyst for more good than ever could be done on your own.
