Camp Spirit is a great summer day camp both for those children who need summer long activities as well as those looking for week long adventures!  Each day is a new experience with the traditional day camp.  With new and exciting field trips each Wednesday.

An exciting introduction to Summer Day Camp for your little one!  Discovery Camp is a perfect solution to summer time daycare that will also provide opportunities for school readiness.  Campers will learn and play at the YMCA and walk to area parks. Activities include arts & crafts, music, visits to the library, fitness, games and many more activities!  Counselor to Camper ratio is approximately 1:7.  Each week has a special theme. 

Campers may attend all week or choose up to 3 days.  Camp day may be extended to a full day if needed; afternoons will be spent with Camp Spirit.

This High School leadership camp brings students together from all walks of life to focus on skills in leadership, organizing, teamwork, and much more.  The camp will be held Sunday June 24 - Friday June 29 at Mankato State University in Mankato, MN.  Students will get a change to experience on campus college living by staying in the dorms and enjoying meals at the on campus dining center. 

COMMUNITY SUPPORT CAMPAIGN

The Marshall Area YMCA 2012 Community Support Campaign is in full swing.  In 2012 our goal is to raise $110,000 to assist youth, adults and families in the Marshall area learn, grow and thrive at the Y.  All donations stay, and are used, at the Marshall Area YMCA for scholarships for Membership, Afterschool Programs and Summer Camp fees.  Each and every year the need for assistance grows.  In 2011 the Marshall Area YMCA granted over $221,000 in assistance to familes, group homes, youth and adults in the Marshall area to utilize programs and services at the YMCA.  Throughout the month of March we have a great team of volunteer campaigners telling the story of the Y and asking you to make a contribution to the Y and the surrounding communities.  Thank you for supporting your YMCA and your community!
