The Marshall Area YMCA Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Cindy Rosa as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer. A Marshall native, Rosa brings nearly three decades of YMCA leadership experience and a deep commitment to community-focused service.
Rosa most recently served as CEO of the YMCA of Forest City, Iowa, where she has led strategic growth and program development since 2023. Her professional journey with the Y includes roles in youth programming, membership, and senior leadership. Notably, Rosa is returning to familiar ground, having previously served the Marshall Area YMCA as a Program Director (2002–2005) and Associate Executive Director (2008-2015).
“We are thrilled to welcome Cindy back to the Marshall Y,” said Aaron Ziemer, Chair of the Marshall Area YMCA Board of Directors. “She brings a unique blend of local insight and proven leadership across the YMCA movement. Her experience in program development, community engagement, and fundraising will be instrumental as we look toward the future.”
Rosa will officially begin her role as CEO on August 1, 2025.
