An Indoor Playground is Coming to the Marshall Area YMCA

 

The Marshall Area YMCA is thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of our brand-new indoor playground. This exciting addition will provide a safe and engaging space for Marshall area families to climb, slide, and play, no matter the weather outside.

 

Designed for children of all ages, our indoor playground will be the perfect destination for families looking for healthy and fun activities. It’s an ideal spot for playdates, a great way to burn off energy, and a wonderful opportunity for kids to develop gross motor skills in a clean and welcoming environment.

RECENT UPDATES:

The Grand Opening date is set! The entire Marshalla area community is invited to join us for free on Saturday, September 13, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Please follow these rules and guidelines to ensure that the indoor playground is safe and fun for everyone.

  • Adult supervision is required at all times. This is not a drop-off area.
    • For the safety of all children, the parent (or responsible person aged 15 or older) must be present at the Indoor Playground and actively supervise their children and their behavior.
    • YMCA staff are not responsible for direct child supervision.
  • For the safety of all children, no pushing, roughhousing, tackling, or throwing of objects.
  • No climbing on the outside of railings, netting, or equipment.
  • Do not damage or rearrange equipment or toys.
  • Clean up after yourself and your child.
  • Children who are sick, have a fever, or exhibit signs of illness are not permitted to enter the playground. Help us keep everyone healthy.
  • No food, drink, or gum of any kind is allowed in the Indoor Playground area. Water bottles may be kept in the hallway.
  • Children must wear appropriate, dry clothing and remove their shoes before entering the Indoor Playground.
    • No bare feet allowed.
    • Grip socks are encouraged.
  • Be kind, take turns, and use respectful language. This is a family-friendly environment, and appropriate behavior is expected at all times.
  • Please report all accidents/behavior issues to the front desk staff and/or building supervisor on duty. 
  • Play at your own risk. The YMCA is not responsible for injuries.
  • YMCA staff reserve the right to ask any guest to leave the playground for unsafe behavior.
