THE MARSHALL AREA YMCA NEEDS YOU
It’s been a fast-paced 20 years: an organization established; a facility constructed; community doers and leaders born; programs launched; traditions, friendships and memories made. The Y has been central to countless achievements, personal and family skill-building accomplishments, diversity and inclusion successes, individual health improvements, wellness journeys, and all-out healthy living fun in our community.
THE YMCA IS INVESTING IN THREE AREAS:
PLAY
With an indoor playground where children and families can be active, connect, and have fun together.
Play and laughter are essential in building strong, healthy parent-child relationships by celebrating togetherness, creating positive bonds, and resolving conflict. The playground will create opportunities for children and families who need our support the most; offering a welcoming space for those with diverse abilities, as well as invitation and access for families facing income insecurity.
All participants can experience mental and emotional well-being and even reduce stress by coming inside the Y to play for the day!
POWER
With a redesigned wellness center, providing new equipment and workout opportunities.
The Wellness Center renovation will expand the sense of community and enhance the member experience by reconfiguring existing space and providing select enhancements to existing facility amenities. It will also include incorporating functional fitness spaces.
The Center will provide a broader fitness landscape for members with unique needs and preferences. The new design concept will meet the needs of all ages; empowering all to reach their personal wellness goals.
