Current open positions
Counselors are the primary staff working with a group of up to 100 children divided among three individual camps. Kids are ages 3 through entering 7th grade. Counselors are responsible for the care of kids in the camp program as well as planning and leading activities.
Custodians are the primary staff persons responsible for the general cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the Y facility and property.
Part-time beginning in September. Must be available Evenings & Saturday Mornings. Swimming Lesson Instructor must be an energetic, dedicated and motivated individual who enjoys swimming and teaching children of all ages.
The YMCA is looking for responsible, caring individuals with demonstrated abilities in lifeguarding and life-saving skills.
Youth Sports Instructor is responsible for developing (lesson plans) and implementing sports programs including but not limited to youth basketball, soccer and gymnastics. Must be enthusiastic and great with children.
The Building Supervisor will be responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Marshall Area YMCA during evening and weekend hours. Must be courteous, friendly, and efficient in providing service to YMCA members and guests.
A Personal Trainer is responsible for developing and implementing specific fitness programs for each individual or small group of clients they are working with.
Lead 5th-grade to 8th-grade participants in activities such as arts & crafts, various games, Esports, field trips, and more.

Must enjoy working with middle school-aged youth from a variety of different economic and cultural backgrounds, while maintaining a positive attitude
Esports Coach is responsible for assisting the Director of Sports and Recreation in developing and implementing a new Esports program utilizing the Nintendo Switch Gaming System (Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., Minecraft, and other new games.)
Requirements:

Knowledge of the Nintendo Switch gaming system, basic knowledge of setting up gaming equipment (monitors, controllers, etc.)
