YOUTH & TEEN FITNESS PROGRAMS IN MARSHALL, MN
The YMCA is proud to provide a facility where people of all ages can build a stronger mind, body and spirit. That includes the middle schoolers and teens in our community. The Y offers a variety of options for this age group to exercise, play, and connect in a safe environment.
ACTIVE/STRONG TEEN ORIENTATION
Youth, grades 5th-8th (ages 10-14), must go through the Active/Strong Teen Orientation to use the Wellness Center. This mandatory program ensures that your children and others around them are safe in YMCA fitness areas.
It includes a 2-session introduction to the Wellness Center and Weight Room Area at the Marshall Area YMCA.
Youth, ages 15 and older, may use the wellness center/weight room but are encouraged to go through the wellness orientation.

SUMMER TRAINING PROGRAMS
STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING
With Strength & Conditioning at the YMCA, Marshall area teens will improve strength, endurance, and functionality with the guidance of SMSU Track & Field athlete, Stella Anderson.
Details:
- Ages 9-18
- Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays
- 7 - 8 a.m.
- $30 per session
- $50 for both sessions

SMALL GROUP TRAINING
Own your offseason at the Marshall Area YMCA! Small Group Training packages are available all summer for your child and a group of teammates or friends.

SUMMER LIFT
This beginner-level lifting program, led by SMSU Student Athlete, William Bryant, focuses on safety, squat form, bench presses, and deadlifts. Perfect for youth seeking to start weight training in Marshall, MN.

Sprint 8® is an efficient, fat-burning sprint-intensity interval program that gives you a complete cardio workout, including warm-up and cool-down, in just 20 minutes. Join SMSU Track & Field athlete, Stella Anderson, for a 20-minute HIIT workout on the treadmills at the YMCA.
